I don't sell that much on e-bay, but I recently sold a brand new laptop for $900 and got ripped off for it. Two minutes after the item sold I got a message saying "I bought your laptop and have a question," and wanted to know if I'd ship to an alternate address, which I did, and got confirmation of delivery. However, three days after it was marked "delivered" the buyer said he never received the package. Except he mentioned that the tracking number hadn't shown it delivered - but I only sent the tracking number to the bogus buyer. Additionally, I was corresponding with the fraud buyer and the person claiming to be the real buyer had THAT information as well. E bay was aware of all of this and refunded hiss money anyway. Is there any point in opening a dispute with PayPal? I'm out $900 which I can NOT afford right now. Thanks.
