I recently had a transaction of £53 get taken out my account by some ghost hacker transferred to some site called Yandex Europe AG, I put a claim in saying this is not me to resolve it, Paypal ignored it basically playing off it wasn't a hacker. I've no idea what Yandex is, I did find out it was a Russian site but not sure what else they do. Paypal state on their site, "We monitor every transaction 24/7 to prevent fraud, email phishing and identity theft." So why wasn't this flagged up as someone using my Paypal to pay abroad using Euros to a company I've never come in contact with. They say you have "protection" against this stuff, yet have failed to help me out. It's appalling attitude from Paypal, I've used their services for a few years now until I realised how incapable this site is at helping with fraudulent activity.
