As everyone has been saying, there are tons of scammers out there and there are several emails being received by many of us for a wide range of things associated with out PayPal accounts. I too have received consistent emails from PayPal (allegedly) that always seem to originate from the U.K., why would they be sending me anthing when I am here in the U.S. and my account is under this region? These idiots think we are totally stupid and that we can't research them but that is their own stupidity and critical thinking error. A word of advice to ANYONE who has anything to sell on eBay, Craigslist, or anywhere else. NEVER front anything to anyone, EVER; NEVER send any item that has allegedly been paid for until you have confirmed directly through your account that it actually has happened as a legal transaction; and NEVER give out your account email or other information for someone to make a payment. If the sales transaction is not going through a verified merchant platform then you need to obtain THEIR information and send them an official PayPal Invoice which they can then pay you from. It is YOUR sale so don't let the customer run the process, take control and if they don't like the way you do business they probably aren't on the level anyway. Good luck to everyone and also don't forget to sumit any suspicious emails to the PayPal Fraud deparment, they are quick to get back to you and they will actually let you know whether or not an email was fake or not.
