Seeing as no one from the Paypal community (ie moderators) could be bothered to address my plea for help (no surprise there of course) I am replying to my own post with a solution which hopefully may be of help to other Paypal users whose needs have been completely ignored by Paypal. After trying all morning on the 0800 help number which wasn't recognised it did eventually become live and I was able to navigate a cumbersome help menu , 20 minutes later I was actually speaking with a human being. The good thing about this was that he was both helpful and intelligent and was able to show me a workaround to acces my save Paypal buttons. To get to the features that were previously accessed through the My Profile button do the following: 1) Log in and switch to classic view using the button at the botom of the page. 2) Once in the classic view page click the cog icon at the top right of the page, this will then take you to a page which allows access to various features such as selling preferences which were previously available. One can only conclude that by leaving direct access to this out from the new site that the Paypal management have a total disregard for the great many users that use more than just the basic features. In fact the help desk admitted that this is a major gaff by Paypal and said that they hoped that it was being addressed.
