Since Pay Pal doesn't think it's important to educate, help, or take responsibility when they make errors ~ This incident is something everyone should know about! When you change the bank on your account you must do a totally separate transaction to change the back up funding source on debit cards (If you have them). If you call Pay Pal and just tell them that you want to change the bank they do not take it upon their self to educate you or in the name of Customer Service ASK if you need to change the debit card back up. They ASSUME that you know that changing the back up funding source is separate from changing the bank on the main profile because they never mention it. AND when the debit card transactions go to the old bank because Pay Pal failed to tell you that the back up funding source needed to be changed also, they will not take responsibility by paying the fees that you incurred due to their error! I think they assume we call and hold on for 20 minutes because we have nothing better to do! Because it can't possibly be because we need info and answers for completing a transaction.
