A fraudulent company using PayPal to legitimize themselves scammed me. They waited for the 45 day complaint period to expire. Then they called me saying a company executive had made off with their client’s information, and money. They demanded I pay them another $300.00 for the 5 yr. contract I had just paid them for, 46 days earlier. When I refused they warned me they had access to my computer, PayPal account, etc and said they were breaking all ties with me and would never allow me to use their services again. I immediately filed a complaint with the US Gov’t Internet Fraud Dept., called my bank and tried to alert PayPal. I thought PayPal should know about this company. I thought they would have a list to keep track of companies using them in this fashion and that after a certain number of complaints they would take some kind of action against them. I was wrong. Not only was the PayPal Fraud person rude, they talked over me, acted like I was an idiot, the one who was wrong, and hung up on me. When I called back they hung up on me again! Needless to say I feel like I’ve been violated twice! Once by the bums that ripped me off for $300.00 and then completely insulted and marginalized by PayPal! I don’t hold PayPal responsible for the actions of these criminals. I do hold them responsible for their complete disregard and contempt for the people who are victimized by fraudulent companies using their services. I will be letting my 3000+ LinkedIn contacts, plus Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram followers know about this. In addition, I will be looking for a new service for my Internet transactions.
