Both tracking and insurance are for your benefit. The tracking is very important with a Return, insurance less so unless the item is fragile. If there is damage in shipping, you will be making a claim with the Post Office. In Canada all parcel services are tracked/Delivery Confirmed, but not all would be appropriate. If the value of the returned item (including shipping costs both ways) is over $250 USD, use Signature Confirmation. Go to canadapost.ca, and click on the Business Services tab. This gives you more options for shipping than personal. You can then weigh and measure your parcel (USE METRIC!) and print out your label at home. You can either drop the parcel in a corner mailbox or take it to your nearest PO for posting.
