Well, no one on the Facebook chat has responded yet but I was able to do a live chat from the main website. The person was not able to help me though but gave me the following information: ---------- It looks like a permanent restriction was placed on your account. That means that we reviewed your account and found potential risk associated with it, and because of that, PayPal does not feel comfortable continuing to process transactions for you. This means that your business model just does not match up with PayPal's business model as well as we would like. From here on out, you will have to find a different payment processor to work with. This is a permanent decision, and there is no way to appeal it. If you have funds in your PayPal balance, we have to hold them for 180 days... When a limitation like this is placed, we aren't able to provide any information as to how the decision was made because the information we use to determine risk is considered proprietary information. I really feel for you in this situation, I really do. There is honestly no information that we can provide. I've given you all of the info that we have. There are different levels of limitations, but this one is he permanent kind, where we are essentially parting ways with you. There is no way to appeal the limitation. The only other level of contact would be our legal department. Which you can contact by mail. I'm very sorry. I wish I had better news for you. I know it is really frustrating. We are very limited to what information we can provide. I can imagine how upsetting this is to you after being with us for 20 years. Contacting our legal department is definitely your best bet. I wish I had a phone number or something for our legal department to give, hopefully they will reach out to you when they receive your letter. ----------------- So, that's it. After 20 years Paypal has cut me off and won't tell me why. We are a bike shop that makes custom recumbent trikes for handicap, disabled, and other riders. We have done nothing contrary to their UA, but some algorithm decided that we were suddenly too much risk and dropped us two weeks before Christmas. I've sent my letter to the Legal Dept.
