Hi, This is a little story for you to read and try to avoid scams like the following: I am selling my car and someone who appears to be a buyer, in my case this body contacted me saying that she wish to purchase the car, but she just recently had an operation therefore bed-bound and unable to view my car and was asking more details. When I provided her with all the details, she was thorough and we discussed the price she offered to pay through PayPal so it is safer for both of us. She then emailed me to say that she will have to get an 'agent' to pick up the car and she was waiting for the quotation, when that came back she emailed me again to say that she is having problems paying the agent via Western Union so asked my help to visit a Western Union shop and pay the agent charges, £220 (Belgian agent name and address) after she sent the money on PayPal. I have received an email, arrived to my Junk box, looked like a genuine PayPal message saying that as we agreed PayPal deposited the money from the Buyers account and the transaction will be completed if I sent the money to the Agent. I knew from beginning that this is a fraud but I was interested to see how she wants to steal my money. Who would buy a used car without viewing it or asking someone to do so? Anyway I emailed her back saying that it won't work if she freezes the money and advised her to do good and don't try to steal anyone's money. Her reply was simple and upset. She informed me that I'm crazy and she reported me to Police as she paid the money. Well the money didn't came through. I will not contact her any longer and as I mentioned within my email to her I will make others aware about this fraud. Hope this little story will help others to avoid paying anything to her/them.
