I do not have a cell phone. Why does PayPal keep insisting I do? In order to get past the cell phone field years ago, I just made up a number so I could continue. They are no help at all.

The employee on the phone told me that I HAD to have a cell phone for "security purposes." The space for the mobile phone would not take my land line. Consequently, i gave them a fictitious cell phone and fogot the whole thing! Thank you for your response.

There is a number on my profile for mobile phone. It is an old number; I no longer have a mobile phone. You won't let me change it or delete it or add my land line for contact. I guess people over 65 should just not use PayPal?
