I have recently withdrawn money to a confirmed Visa Electron debit card (and the previous transactions went through and were instantaneous, suspiciously unlike withdrawals that are said to take several days or more). My PayPal account is not blocked or suspended, neither is my debit card or my bank account.
I contacted my bank and they confirmed that NO TRANSACTION WAS EVER RECEIVED to my debit card, even five full days after PayPal marked the withdrawal as "complete" and deducted the funds. So where did the money go? Off to neverland? I think this is a case of PayPal fraudulently witholding money for whatever nefarious purposes (maybe to gain higher interest rates?)
This is no **bleep** box of chewing gum either, it's quite a hefty sum of money i've earned doing freelance and contractual work, and now I'm unable to withdraw my rightfully earned cash to my rightfully owned debit card from my rightfully owned PP account (both of which, by the way, are financial institutions governed by financial law). Unless PayPal is claiming my bank just plain nabbed the money from my account (I dont think so..), this is a clear case of PAYPAL ENGAGING IN EMBEZZLEMENT.
If anyone has any similar issue, please respond here or contact me personally. There's power in numbers, and I have already contacted my local authorities and my bank about this and I'm looking into what legal measures I can take against PayPal.
Best regards
