Hi Paypal Community, I will first state that I truly appreciate you taking a second to read this and possible provide me some direction or suggestions, as Paypal's customer service team, while super professional and helpful, have reached a standstill in their abilities to help further... Snapshot of problems: 1. I sell on eBay and Etsy; however, ALL of my customer (5 recently) have informed me that when they attempt to make a payment they cannot and only receive errors in the forms of "This recipient is currently unable to receive money" and/or "There's a problem with the merchant's PayPal account, please try again later." 2. This is happening to various customer, all from the U.S. and all with reputable profiles from both Etsy, eBay, and even personal transfers between myself and friends in attempts to figure it out. 3. My limitations, verifications, bank accounts and similar are all good to go, per both Paypal as well as per my own inspection of my settings and account statuses. 4. Paypal's customer service (from many individuals and many layers) tell me that my account is 100%, all is well, and that it must be the customers' (namely the 5 recent ones) problems or issues with their accounts. 5. I asked a couple customers to contact Paypal. Per their conversations with customer service, their accounts are 100% good to go as well. 6. I have attempted to collect funds via invoicing from Ebay, direct checkouts on Etsy, direct invoicing via Paypal, AND having individuals attempt to pay themselves via my email address. 7. Dollar amounts range from $20 to $220 to $835. 8. I have had the same email address, Paypal account, ebay account, bank account and similar for years and years with no changes. 9. I send money via Paypal near daily. Bottom line: I have funds/payments for goods and services in limbo at the moment; customer want to pay, and I would certainly like to collect. Any help you can furnish would be GREATLY appreciated! Note on Paypal: After five different calls to Paypal on the same business day, one of Paypal's customer service supervisors finally contacted me via phone only to reiterate that my account is 100% operational and that there exists no problems evident. He ("Dave" Employee #45855) even went so far as to comment on Paypal's poor and limited design and inability to address such problems. Further, he proposed that I circumvent his own firm and make attempts to collect funds via another method (e.g. Western Union, Money Order, etc.). At last, he asked me what I wanted to do...I informed him that I wanted to elevate the issue in attempts to find a solution. Though he was professional and attempting to help, he apparently reached the end of his abilities for this problem. I asked to speak to his leadership, anyone who may be able to help me elevate the issue further; however, he would not. I asked again, and after he informed me that they, too, would be unable to assist we agreed to leave it at that. Not the greatest experience of customer service, BUT certainly not the worse. "Dave" maintained composure and professionalism but was certainly unable to address this a seemingly basic issue of requesting and obtaining funds.
