Recently, I bought an item for around £300+ through a website (not ebay). I didn't do any research on that website (sorry for being stupid) because when I looked at the price it was incredibly low so I thought it is some sort of sale or wholesale dealer and genuine. So I paid through paypal. The seller has sent me an empty box and when I looked at the seller's website I found out that it is a Chinese website and it says that they sell replica items such as Rolex, Omega, LV, Burberry and many other famous brands which is illegal. And as the seller is located in China and he says that he has not cheated me. I have escalated the PayPal dispute against seller in which I have provided sufficient details to PayPal (courier tracking number which was posted from China, Seller's website of Replica items etc). But today I received an email from PayPal which says: The seller has submitted an explanation describing the disagreement with this claim. PayPal will evaluate all available information, including the original listing and both the seller and buyer statements. A final decision will be made on this claim in accordance with our User Agreement. Now, what does it mean? Should I assume that PayPal will make the decision in Seller's favour, and I should forget my money? P.S. Sorry for not doing research before purchase. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
