I understand holds for a payment if I had sold something, on eBay or elsewhere, and someone was waiting for delivery or something. That makes sense. In my case, I bought software that had a money back guarantee. I found it didn't work satisfactorily for me, and actually thought my main hassle would be getting the refund from the company that sold it. But actually, they were very good about sending a credit to my PaylPal account for the refund. So, why the hell is PayPal placing a hold on it? I was the buyer and was owed the refund, and the company accepted that I did, and sent it to me...and now it's on hold? PayPal even has the record of my buying th e product, so they know that the company is simply refunding me money I'd previously paid. The company sent the refund, and they're the only ones who have a say in whether they owe me the refund. They agree it is. So, I cannot figure why PayPal would place a hold on it. Let the transaction occur, for heaven's sake!
