I got my reader and when I was using it I noticed a HUGE glitch for the sales tax: We have a product that when you buy one it's $9.95 and when you buy three it is $24.95. So there's a discount if you buy 3. However if I apply the discount using the discount function, while it does adjust the balance due down by the appropriate amount it is still applying tax due based on the ORIGINAL full price and results in collecting too much in tax. The only way I can see to work around this is to actually create a line item in inventory that already reflects the discounted price and to use that. (So why even have a discount feature if I have to do it myself?) For example if I sell each item for $9.95 but offer a 3 for $24.95 discount. I can't enter in each $9.95 item and then apply a $4.90 discount without overcharging in taxes. I have to create a separate (3 for) line item that is $24.95 in order to get the correct tax amount. Sadly this then makes it impossible to track inventory item by item and makes the discount feature pointless. This is an accounting nightmare! Any chance that a fix is in the works?
