Just got off the phone with support and finally find a solution as to why I couldn't add funds from my bank account to my pay pal account. When you log into PayPal and choose the "Add Money" from the "My PayPal" section you only see the option, "Add Money from MoneyPak." If you click this link you get wisked to MoneyPak's website with no ability to go back to PayPal! What you don't see in the drop down choise is: "Add money for U.S. Bank account." After talking with support I've come to learn that this isn't a web bug, but as designed. PayPal wants to encourage all of us to use MoneyPak or using your BillMeLater line of credit!! OMG this is really bad business practice!!! The "trick" to getting to the secret "Add money for U.S. Bank account" is to actually click on the "Add Money" link and not the drop down shortcut options. The direct URL you can bookmark is: https://www.paypal.com/addfunds Why PayPal's web designers would agree to mislead users like us from adding funds in favor for going into debt or using an expensive prepaid money card service just so PayPal can earn more in fees is REALLY BAD BUSINESS practice. It has lowered my opinion of PayPal/eBay dramatically and has me looking at Dwolla and other providers for my online purchasing business. I encourage anyone else having trouble finding the add funds from my bank account to let PayPal know how disappointed they are in intentionally desiging their website to add fees to the cost of doing business. Booooo!
