Hi, I made a sale on ebay for £300, i called on monday to ask why my funds weren't released, to which i was told by a customer service agent that once i entered the tracking number and it showed that the item was signed and delivered then the funds would be releaed three days after. Today, i rang up twice and was speaking to two sepearate agent. The first explaned my funds won't be available for another 9 days, despite showing the item has arrived promptly and despite what the other agent had told me on monday. The second didn't seem to have any idea why my funds were on hold and couldnt explain to me why in December i sold the exact same item, for the same price and once the item had been verified as delivered my funds were released. So why this time is it any different? I've sold the exact same item, at the exact same price only two months later. Last time my funds were held but when the tracking proved it was delivered they released my funds. So why this time must i wait a further 9 days? This policy is completely absurd. I've sent the item, i've entered the tracking and i have excellent seller/buyer history - so where is MY money. I understand safe guards need to be implemented but the inconsistencies regarding paypals stance on this policy is ridiculous. Today was the worst case of customer service i have ever experienced from any company, agents who don't seem to know/care/have a solution. Ebay have said my funds will be available on the 11/02/17 - which is today - yet funds still pending. Does anyone know what the actual stance is or how this works?
