I notice that there are serious problems being posted here and no response from Paypal. The problem is that Paypal hijacks customers' funds causing them to be inaccessible to the payor who put the money in the account, and the recipient of the funds who is due them rightfully within 24 hours turnaround time. More than 24 hours and the funds are hijacked IMO. This is wrong and believe should be a matter of investigation. PayPal should release funds when legitimate payors have paid and legitimate recipients have sold/shipped and received feedback as Paypal asks. We've done our part. Where is PayPal's fiduciary responsibility?

I'm a new seller and same problem. My funds deposited to me by my buyer in good faith, and my providing goods and services, in good faith has been undermined by Paypal's hijacking of these funds In essence, neither the buyer or the seller has the money right now. Paypal has it. I want my money. I believe Paypal should be investigated for this. Seems wrong. I need groceries and I want my money.

Good afternoon. My first day as a "seller" and I am furious with PayPal. Holdling my funds for 21 days? My product/service is done via shared internet files, through "Dropbox" and my customer receives product/services in advance. Today I am paid and find out I cannot access my funds? Help. I have submitted documentation requested for verification but I have two problems. I do not have a debit/credit card veriable via a "small charge" until I access my funds and PAY MY CREDIT CARD. It doesn't have any available balance and the on;ly one I use or want to use. So what happens from here? I do not have a new id yet with photo and matching new address.. I just moved. I sent a headshot and a copy of a rental agreement. THis paypal is set up for the masses, not for the individual who might operate a bit differently. HELP!
