We have been having issues with IPN messages from sales on eBay generating IPN messages to our website that have bounced back as failed, and thus emails from Paypal about failing IPNs. One solution that has been suggested is to create a small php script to listen for IPNs on our website so that any IPNs no generated by sales on the website itself still manage to find a listener to create the proper feedback to Paypal. We have used a script from https://www.paypaltech.com/SG2/ to generate the code for the listener. However, in looking at the code I am not certain if this will successfully generate the returns I need it to, as it seems to be pointing at a general Paypal url, and not a UK specific one. Specifically these lines. $header .= "Host: ipnpb.paypal.com:443\r\n";
$fp = fsockopen ('ssl://ipnpb.paypal.com', 443, $errno, $errstr, 30); Do I need to edit this script to point to a UK specifc url, or is this a universal one for all Paypal transactions? Thank you.
