Hi, I won an aution on eBay for a 'Brand New' Nintendo DS Lite, with a years guarantee for £34.00 and postage was £16.99, £50.99 in total. I recieved it in the post a week after paying. When I opened the packaging I saw that the box was poor quality. Also the charger was lose in the envelope, not in with the box. I have compared the DS Lite to pictures I've found on Google and it does definately look counterfeit. I immediately made a case with Paypal (same day I recieved it). The seller replied a couple of times before saying I could have a refund, BUT I had to return it first. I then said OK and asked them for a return address. They replied with a Chinese address. So now Paypal say it's upto me to return and get a tracking number by the 18th December. I am kind of annoyed as their listing on eBay says item location: London. I wouldn't complain if I had to return to London because that is what it says on the listing. If I would of saw item location: China, I wouldn't of bid in the first place because I'd of known if anything like this would of happened I'd have to return to China. And who is even to say a company that's getting away with selling fake goods is going to even refund me? Also I'm not sure you're even allowed to send things you know may be counterfeit in the post. I've contacted my local Citizens Advice and they said they've made Trading Standards aware of the company and said they may or may not contact me about it. Everything's a bit up in the air. I just don't know what to do. Either way I think I'll be losing out but I just want someone to take this issue on board and do something about it because it just seems like it's all upto me now to return (to China?!!). Thanks for reading.
