Yeah, after having my social security income's bank account hacked after and ONLY after hooking it up to paypal. I'm not about to risk it again. Even if the hack was never paypal's doing to begin with, I still don't want to take the risk. I am willing to give PP my SS # and maybe some other personal info, but because of the hell I had to go through after that one incident, I am not linking my bank account, ever. My main reasons are as follows. 1: never going to spend over 4,000 a month....I don't even MAKE that much in a year. 2: never really going to sell anything through paypal (at the present time) 3:Review reasons 1 and 2. My bank account should not be required to confirm that I am a 'valid citisen' anyway, because my parents control my finances like I'm freaking five years old even now. Even more so thanks to that incident. We went through a lot of crap to get the SSI cards back in order, so yeah, any alternative options besides a bank account will be apriciated.
