Hoping you can help. I really need some advice. I have an item for sale on preloved. It is a rare collectors clock and a lady enquired about it, mentioning that she had a broken one of these and made me an offer for mine. I declined the offer. Yesterday a man, from the same town, made me an offer for this clock, also stating that he had a broken one of these clocks. My clock is in perfect working order, and my mum has told me that these ppl may be trying to scam me. It has been known for ppl to buy a product that is working then claim it isn't, they in turn could send me the broken clock back and claim a full refund. I am very wary now. How can I protect myself in this situation? If I have a video of the clock fully working before I send it? Or to state in PayPal invoice that I will not accept refund or return? I need advice please, so I know I'm covered. Thanks x
