Since all of the previous threads for this subject have been archived, I am starting a new one. If anyone else is still dealing with the "payments skipped" problem, would you please reply here so that Paypal might finally do something about this problem? If you search for "payments skipped", you will see numerous posts about the problem which is this: -Merchant recieves this email message "We cannot process the following recurring payment. We will try again in five days. " The customer does not receive it and there is no record in the merchant Paypal account. -Customer is contacted and there is almost never a problem with their Paypal account. Other payments go through, it is just this recurring payment that is the problem, often after many of months of it working smoothly. Credit cards and bank info are up to date. -In the days when I would waste my time on the telephone trying to resolve this issue, it always entailed hours of being passed around from dept. to dept. with the end result always being the message "It must be a problem with the customer" I believe there must be a bug or something in the system. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I was lulled into forgetfulness when it didn't happen the past few months. Now there are all of a sudden 3 or 4 customers in this situation in the past few weeks. It is terrible for customer satisfaction, let me tell you. And it takes up much too much of my time trying to solve. Please chime in here if you have experienced in the past or are dealing with this now. After more than a year of this off and on, and no attention on Paypal's part, it may finally be time to make the arduous switch to another processor.
