I sold a game over 7 weeks ago. 4 days ago without warning a case was opened against me saying that the buyer has not received the item, he asked for a refund. I said no, he had left it too long to message me about asking for a refund, it was out of eBay return period. Also I no longer have any proof of postage for this item as it has been so long, I could of asked for a refund from Royal Mail, Asked them to find it or even show this to PayPal that I am not trying to scam him. The case has now been esclaed to PayPal customer services, I have upto the 20th of September to reply. However I can not reply to submit my side of the story to PayPal because I have one of three options to choose from. Issue the buyer a full refund. I can provide tracking information Provide proof that the buyer has already been refunded. I can not click on of these as the item was sent by first class, without tracking. I'm not issuing a refund as the eBayer is, what I believe he is doing is trying to scam me, and I haven't issued a refund. So I can not click continue and submit my side of the story. The claim closes on the 20th September, so I will lose if I can not tell my side of the story to PayPal and be forced to give a refund to the buyer. I need help trying to get pass these 3 questions to submit my side of the story to PayPal so I wont lose the case. Thanks for any help.
