What I've been going thru all morning about this is simply unbelivable!!! The most frustrating part is that when I try to get thru to someone in the company, there seem to be endless ways to deny me entry. Even to post here presented obstacles. I've always accepted the 3-5 day BS, but the only thing I was using PPal for was payments for my business. Now something new that has me bursting my guts! I signed up on Grammerly.com for a free one week trial. I charged my PPal acct, naively thinking since there was not enough money to cover the fee, they just wouldn't pay it. I was shocked when they withdrew money from my bank account without even notifying me much less asking permission! I didn't know it had been done until I'd paid my bills and I was charged bank fees for insufficient funds!! So I disputed the fee with Grammerly via PayPal, and it was settled within a few hours, and Grammerly refunded the payment to PPal. And now I have to wait, and PPal isn't even showing the refund as recorded in my PP account! Today, as I said, I played musical contacts with them, finally had to call some dingbat who was intent on "explaining" their policies. I wouldn't let her. If this is their policy, that's nuts! It seems illegal to me. Worst of all, I cannot even send these jokers an email simply expressing my opinion! The woman on the phone said I could email service@paypal, but a messge cme back telling me they don't read emails at that address! Or anywhere else, apparently. I guess this is the worst part to me because I'm a writer and I just must communicate my outrage! How can they just withdraw money from my bank acct without even letting me know, and cannot return it until they decide to record it and I request it and it takes god only knows how long to get it back, and who knows how much money in bank fees for insufficient funds? Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to expedite the return of my money to the bank, and/or tell PayPal what I think of their policies and/or quit Pay Pal and let them know why? I would love anyone's opinion or help, please. My blood pressure is up to the ceiling now and I need a cigarette (quit over 4 months ago!). HELP!!!!
