I too filed a claim for an online shoe seller when I realized that they send you shower caps from China instead of the shoe that you ordered. I never got an acknowledgement from their site that i made a transaction. That already was a red flag for me. There are a good number of people who have encountered this online shoe seller already and have been scammed with the modus operandi that they will send PayPal the tracking number and actually send a shower cap or trinket. I have read horror stories that PayPal had closed the dispute/claim once the tracking number had been sent and the buyer did not get their money back. Hopefully, that is not the case with my claim. I am bewildered why with all of the scams on PayPal customers that this online shoe store is still part of the PayPal system. I am wondering if a complaint to the FBI can close them down but, they are located in China??? But on the other hand, good thing it goes through PayPal so at least you can dispute it. I honestly have never had any problems with sellers from China when i buy from Ebay. Only this time that i had used my Paypal account on a website outside of Ebay. Having read the earlier posts, I realized that they might change names, websites, and email addresses. I actually got scammed from rios.shoes. I had read from online scambook of the numerous people that got scammed from these people. I am having to wait it out now because they sent PayPal the tracking number. I wish I could just get my money back. Or should I just dispute this from my bank credit card? The nice lady from PayPal told me to wait for the package and if it does not look like shoes to refuse the package or send it back via the post office. Really?
