I'm supposed to recieve some money through paypal, and want to get a gift for my boyfriend. We have a joint banking account that the paypal account is connected to. He doesn't get on the paypal, but he does check the bank statements. If I purchase something for him as a gift with Paypal funds, as long as I have enough funds (Say it's a $50 item.) If I have $55 in my paypal account, will the transaction show up on my bank statement? I assume if you don't have the direct funds in the paypal account then whatever else is needed gets taken out of your bank account and THEN it would show up on your statement as "paypal blahblahblah".
