All message i post here are cesored heavily - Paypal refuse to sort out a problem which theyve kept going for days now by stopping my every attempt at sorting it out. Here, on this forum under the same heading title is the beginning of this thread
Below are a couple of emails from a "p.pelce at paypal ", who keeps sending emails which i in good faith respond to in an effort to get an ongoing problem sorted out, which paypal have continued by doing various blocking tactics so as not to let me use my paypal a/c, probably because ive posted whats actually going on here. Bascally, i was told during calls when i called paypal that they had no record of my card. Indeed, I had lost it months ago and renewed it with my bank, but didnt update my paypal as it worked fine for months after. After all, the bank a/c itself had not changed, but even so they wanted me to update my card, which i have tried to do but been refused. The character "p.pelce" keeps asking for my bank a/c final 4 digits, which ive already told him at least twice, even sending in a bank statement to try and prove it, and also by phone to paypal employees ive informed them many times - but it makes no difference - they will not let headway be made. Below are a sample of the various meaningless emails from paypal, where i try and answer in good faith in an effort to get it all sorted out. No such luck.

I have already told you, Mr. P. Pelce, that the final 4 numbers of my bank a/c are 8517. I sent you, put below yet again, as proof part of my bank statement which i have included with the original emails - mine and yours. Now, in trying to confirm my card as a paypal employee said on the phone you have no record of my card ending in 1033 i have tried to confirm it with you, but you have not taken the £1 from my a/c which allows me to do this. I enclose my latest statement yet again to prove there has been no £1 asked for over 24 hours ago. Clearly foul play is at work here. I have only ever had 1 bank account and that is with you also and the last 4 figures of that bank a/c are 8517 as i have told you in phone calls many times over the past few days, and in emails, yet you persist in stopping progress of my problem by kereping on asking for it.
Why have you not taken the £1 from my bank a/c so i can confirm my card? You have sent me a number of messages which i have put below, but never do you reply or sort out my problem, which has been going on since 1 Feb.
Having had a 50 minute meeting with my bank manager over something as trivial as this, he confirms my bank a/c is compleyely in order and he cannot work ot why you are acting as you are.
I will be taking all my experiences with yourselves since 1 Feb to the banking ombudsman, Trading Standards and everyone concerned in government banking malpractice, and i will be sending them all the emails i have also sent to the paypal addresses this email has been sent to.
I have gone out of my way to resolve this situation but you have blocked every such attempt, to the extent now of youre sending repetitive emails which i foolishly answer in good faith only for you to resend them again in a continuation of your gameplaying.
Below also is the reply where I reply to your email in good faith before realising I have been duped.
sincerely

Confirm your debit or credit card
Dear john graham,
You linked your debit or credit card to your PayPal account on 13 Feb 2013. To make sure the card is yours, we made a small charge to it that you'll need to confirm (and we'll refund the money to your PayPal account when you're done).
Solo or Maestro cards•Check your bank statement (it can be quicker to check online or call) to find the two small amounts that we have charged to your account. •Log in to your PayPal account at PAYPAL DOT CO DOT UK and go to your Account Overview page. •Click "Confirm my debit or credit card" in the "To Do List" box, which should be located to the left of the page and enter the two charge amounts. All other debit and credit cards•Check your bank or card statement (it can be quicker to check online or call) and look for a £ charge with the word "PayPal" and a four-digit code. •Log in to your PayPal account at PAYPAL DOT CO DOT UK and go to your Account Overview page. •Click "Confirm my debit or credit card" in the "To Do List" box, which should be located to the left of the page and enter your four-digit code.
Don't worry, the small amounts we have charged you will be refunded.
If you have already carried out the above process, please ignore this email and accept our apologies.
Yours sincerely, PayPal

03:00 (23 hours ago) to ppelce P. Pelce,
Furthermore I was told by the bank manager to update my card details which formerly showed on paypal as having the last 4 numbers of 1025 - even though my paypal a/c has been working fine under those last 4 numbers since i got the new card with last 4 numbers 1033. I have just updated them to 1033 which is my current card which changed a few months ago. I hope doing this will not make me wait further days on end before i can use the paypal a/c as people are waiting to be paid, and have been for days and this entire process has caused untold grief in more ways than one. I notice even though there is money in my bank a/c and has been there days still it shows i owe £5 odd which i am not allowed to pay to you. Why is this? i find it ridiculous that i am not allowed to pay this £5 which MIGHT resolve this ridiculous situation and paypal wont take it from my bank.
Below is my statement as of this morning from paypal and i can assure you my barclays bank balance is in 3 figures and has been for a week.

Mr. Pelce,
I spent 50 minutes with my bank manager yesterday 12 feb trying to explain the situation, that being a payment requested from paypal to my bank on the 1 feb failed, and continued to fail for 12 days even when there was adequate money in the bank account to cover the amount requested - £25 odd. The bank were at a loss to explain why this situation was as it was - and said paypal were at fault. If they werent at fault why a] did they simply not take the payment and b] why was i not allowed to simply put £25 in my paypal a/c - because i tried but was refused time after time.
Payments from ebay before 10 feb to me lessened the amount to £5 from the original £25 odd but i see you have finally taken £25 odd from my bank even though £20 had been forthcoming and been put into my paypal in between 1 feb and 11 feb. I do not have a clue what you are doing at the moment - nobody does including your staff because when i phone, as i have as recently as yesterday 12 feb everyone tells a different story.
All i know is my bank manager told me the original £25 had finally been taken from my bank on the 12 feb - but what of the £20 odd put in in before the 12 feb by the ebay user? After i saw the payment of £20 had been made into my paypal by an ebay user i tried to transfer the difference - £5 odd - to clear the £25 originally owing but that £5 odd transfer failed. So now i am £20 odd missing, yet you have got the original £25 odd too on 12 feb - and noone can explain what has happened. So much for your "system".
For months i have been trying to tell you when ive called my card number ends as of months ago as 1033 - it was 1025 - my bank a/c has never differed in 10 years from being 8517 final numbers - yet you still do not accept any of this even though i have recordings of calls made to you where i have clearly and concisely told you this - to no avail.
