This is an extract STRAIGHT from the Paypal User Agreement. Section 13.2 Part d. Open a Dispute within 45 days of the date you sent the payment and follow the online dispute resolution process described below under “How do I resolve my problem?” in section 13.5. -If the buyer claimed 'unauthorised transaction' or whatever, then someone would have access to not only his EBAY account, but to his PAYPAL account, therefore he must have given his details to someone, or he is just flat out lying. He would have known about making the payment back in august because I sent him an email confirming postage. AND I sent the item to HIS address that was on paypal. So he would of got a ring in the post on the 4th of August. So saying that he didn't authoise the transaction is BULL SH*T because if he didn't, he would have done something about it MUCH sooner. -Someone better reply and put the money back in my paypal account or I am taking all my evidence (emails off ebay saying there was fraudulent activity on his account so they closed it 5 days after I had already sent the item -to his adress both on ebay and on paypal- out along with other evidence) to the UK Financial Ombudsman Service. ***IMPORTANT*** Section 12.2 Part B says To be eligible for 100% protection for Unauthorized Transactions or Other Errors in your Account, you must notify us within 60 Days after any Unauthorized Transaction or Other Error first appears in your Account statement. We will extend the 60 Day time period if a good reason, such as a hospital stay, kept you from notifying us within 60 Days. You should regularly log into your Account and review your Account statement to ensure that there has not been an Unauthorized Transaction or Other Error. PayPal will also send an email to the primary email address you have provided in order to notify you of each transaction from your Account. You should also review these transaction confirmations to ensure that each transaction was authorized and is accurate. There we go, Paypal, in your own words. 60 days! It's was 102 when you informed me, took my money and reversed it back to the buyer. The fact that Paypal won't even give me any information of why the buyer stated that it was an unauthorized transaction or any other details is stupid. It's my loss and I should know the reason I'm being ripped off!
