So just recently I made a transaction through Paypal. I was sending money in order to receive car parts for my car through a car enthusiast / forum website and so we were to handle the transaction via Paypal. Little did I know, going through personal messages back and forth on the forum site with the seller, I "mis-read" the seller's email because it was UNDERLINED and set as a link. I was supposed to send the payment to remlap (underscore) 3 at yahoo dot com and as you can see the "underscore" is NOT visible when it's underlined as a direct link like that or whatever, so I figured to just delete the space in between "remlap" and "3" and send the payment to remlap(no space or underscore)3 at yahoo dot com . The transaction was sent, then "CONFIRMED"... Now I got a personal message from the actual seller, asking if I had sent the money and I said "I did" and I also explained that I sent it without a space because I thought it was an error, so I put it together. Shortly after I got a response from him saying there WAS an UNDERSCORE, so now.... I don't know what to do.. I opened up a dispute on the transaction, but it seems like it only covers such small ground ("fraud / hacking issue of the account" or "didn't receive item"), I know in this case it was partially my fault but it really is not visible to see an underscore when emails are "linked" like that. Now I'm $120.00USD down the drain and some random person (remlap3) accepted the payment and is $120 richer. Please if anyone can help, I would appreciate it SOOOOOO MUCH. I really just want a refund or have Paypal correct the sending issue and add a underscore between "remlap" and "3", so everything can be on its way. No more hassles, please.
