avidcat - Olivia is in recharging mode, she can't hear us at the moment, so we can talk frankly.
I should also add that Google Checkout is a fine feature for those seeking fast and safe transactions online... and they do so without ****ing over their customers in the process, and without giving robotic resonses to justify genuine complaints. Seriosly... have you ever heard of anoyone with a genuine complaint on Google or Amazon? It's unheard of!

It's easy to understand why they have this bogus policy... They lose money every time they process a credit card, they make money on all the interest accumulated by money sitting in paypal accounts, and drawing from a bank account costs them nothing. People aren't complaining that they can't have funds withdrawn from paypal accounds, as Olivia is paid to make you believe... they are complaining that paypal withdraws from bank accounts FIRST, not just once but TWICE!... and then finally proceeds to charge the credit card as some people would prefer. Don't get me wrong, people acquire the debt and it's owed to paypal... but even credit card companies don't start withdrawing from your bank account if you're late to pay, and certainly not if the payment never goes through in the first place!!!! This is why it's not an unreasonable request for paypal's customers to request payments on credit cards first. Instead of giving customers what they want and deserve, paypal hires Olivia full time to argue in favor of their poor service policies. Nothing personal Olivia, I'm sure you know the customers wants "should" always be considered right, but unfortunately it's your job to go against that belief... I feel for you. I've cut my paypal dealings to an absolute minimum... I can't deal with this "Bash the customers for profit" policy. I now do most of my buying/selling through amazon, they are a superior company, and I also buy/sell locally whenever I can... and I suggest all of paypal's customers do the same.

This is a **bleep** Joke!!!!!!!
I just got charged $25 from my bank because paypal decided to withdrawl Ebay Fees (Which I have no control over the funding source) from my bank account which is currently at $0.
Not only that, but they tried to withdrawl a 2nd time from the same empty savings account... So now I'm being charged ANOTHER $25!
Finally after **bleep**ing me out of $50 they finally decide to charge my credit card, which I WANT AS MY PRIMARY SOURCE ANYWAYS... All this to pay for $6 in ebay fees.
I GOT **bleep**ED OUT OF $50 TO PAY A $6 FEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!All because paypal refuses to allow it's customers to set their primary funding source!!!!!
I'm on the verge of dropping Paypal, AND Ebay! Amazon is looking like a far better company to do business with!
