On the 3rd June, Paypal broke my account. I cannot pay for any items on EBay as Paypal won't let me use my bank account as a funding source. THIS IS NOT AN ACOUNT LIMITATION. This is a technical fault with Paypal. They have admitted it is their technical fault. It is now 29th July. That is 56 days since I raised the system failure with them. Total response to date. Zero. They have no idea how their system works. They have no idea how to perform simple bug fixes. They have no idea what a roll back is. They have no interest in solving this fault. They have no interest in serving their customers. I have paid them thousands of pounds over the years, directly as a seller and indirectly as a buyer, and the customer service I receive when THEY **bleep** up is disgusting. If I behaved like this as a seller in a dispute my account would be closed. They ignore my emails, they lie, they are rude. They have even told me they are not obliged to provide the service (Part of the warranty section of their user agreement). That's right, a company that provides a means of transferring money between bank accounts is, according to the contract it forces it's users to agree to, not obliged to provide the service that the users pay for. I have never experienced a company that treats it's customers with such contempt, a technical team that is so incompetent, and a customer service team (including "Executive Escalations" who are supposed to be a higher level of customer service) that are so rude and unhelpful. I believe that the "Customer Service" team is actually a bot, that just automatically responds with predetermined answers. There appears to be no human element to any communication. At the very least there is a cast iron script these morons have to follow. WORST COMANY EVER, AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
