Im so furious I sold a BRAND NEW UNLOCKED phone ($420) to some guy and then he made a claim saying it was "used for 17hours and 2.5gb of data usage" and filed it under a category of "internally damaged" Paypal ruled in his favor!!! Clearly he changed his mind but am sure he saw that there are no returns on my auctions since the phone is new and if I accept a return , it will then be used. I even emailed him my phone number to discuss this and he never wrote or responded back. Heres the kicker, he got the phone on a Monday and it wasnt until Friday that he made a claim. Why wait so long if it supposedly "wasnt as advertised" also, why not try to resolve it through the ebay messaging system first?? Things dont add up but luckily for him som BOZO at paypal "reviewed" all the details and ruled in this LIAR's favor. My ebay membership of 100% and almost 10 years must mean nothing to paypal. I already told the buyer that I have no problem issuing a refund once I get the phone. I also told him that if the phone doesnt get back to me IDENTICAL to how it was when I sent it and that if it even has as much as a smudge of grease, dirt or a hair on it I will send him the phone back, cancel my bank account and he will not get a single cent from me. I really think that HE thinks Paypal is the one that gives out refunds. Silly buyers and this fake "buyer protection" Hes lucky im not keeping the phone AND his money for pulling this stunt on me. I , unlike him, am an honest person. I am looking into this kind of scenario more as Im sure im not the only one. I hope Paypal gets their day in court for all the BS that they do.
