Hello, We are a victim of fraud! About 6 months ago we received an order from a buyer and we processed and shipped items out normally. When he received items they tried to contact us directly and place more orders. We noticed the issue when he tried to provide us several different credit card information from different states so we hold the shipment and then the real card owner contacted the credit card company for dispute so we confirmed he was doing fraud. About mon month later the guy opened an dispute case for the very first order he placed and we immediately submitted evidences to PayPal chargeback team. We have all card information and emails we send back and forth with him. PayPal On Hold our money and chargeback team replied and stated they were filing dispute with the card company as well. After that we sent follow up emails to PayPal every week and received response very few. Then one day PayPal just told us they cannot get the money back and that’s it. We don’t think we should bear the loss so we submitted appeal and never received any response! Last month, the same guy tried to do the fraud again and placed orders from our website again. We noticed that and stopped shipments but still got one package delivered. Few days ago the guy submitted dispute to PayPal and PayPal deducted out money again since the cases are under review now. We replied on the case and emailed chargeback team again but no response and progress have been received so far! We don’t know how can we protect ourselves in cases like these. As seller do we just bear the loss even the buyer was doing the fraud act obviously? We feel we are not been protected by PayPal Seller Protection at all! Really need help here and anyone had the same situation? Thanks, EESGI
