A buyer purchased something listed AS IS and then filed a claim that the item received was "Not as described," when in fact what was received WAS as described and wanted his money back only because the item he received he claimed was not compatible with his system. PayPal ended up giving the buyer a full refund without the buyer providing any evidence of his claim, nor any record of having tried to reach the seller via email. As the seller, the first I heard about all this was after logging on to PayPal and discovering I had the amount deducted from my balance. The buyer pulled off a scam and PayPal abetted this. Seller protection evidently is meaningless.
