Welcome! It's always refreshing to see people concerned with internet safety.
It's pretty common for eBay sellers to have a different name or email address with PayPal as many times family members will have different eBay accounts. We also see small business use different names and emails with PayPal than with eBay.
Usually it's a situation where the seller has an old email address in their listing settings.
If there's just a difference in the name or email, I wouldn't worry. If the eBay listing has the "eBay Buyer Protection" logo, then you'll have protection if the item hasn't arrived or isn't as described. Click this link for more information about eBay Buyer Protection
It also couldn't hurt to send the seller an eBay message for clarification about the payment and to make sure they received it.
