Sloooow. Of course, PayPal is always slow, so on my iPhone I can't expect it to suddenly be fast. What's way worse is that it just does not work right. Many times I get "Server errors", the History duplicates items under different statuses like "Debit Card ATM withrawal" as well as "Authorization" or "Debit card signature purchase" as well as "Authorization". Why duplicates? Makes me feel like I paid double, PLUS I Can't just Add Items Together, because I'll be duplicating some items. I have to be very careful to extract meaning from this list which makes it NEAR USELESS. And the crap with the new "Stay signed in" system is that it just does absolutely nothing. I've tried setting it, resetting it, setting it some more, setting it lower, setting it higher, and it does absolutely nothing whatsoever. Instead of being a time saver, it's a total time waster. A normal user would feel they just don't know how to use this "complicated tech stuff", but being a power user, I know better. It just doesn't work because it's badly done. Loading... So, it's a piece of crap, apart from the fact that it exists. It's an okay idea (not special, there's an app for everything), but the execution is lame. PayPal should have plenty of cash on hand to sic a rent-a-coder on this and get it fixed in less than an hour. Yeah, 1 hour. But I assume I'll still have to wait 5 years for something better to come along. Yummy! Really? As a matter of fact, I could do it myself if I had the current code base. And I don't write for iOS or Android. Sad. Lame. But the good news is that you'll probably be able to pawn it off on all those unsuspecting people who are happy that a) it's free and b) it exists and that c) they don't know that errors and problems don't have to crop up every 2 seconds: the non-techies. But as for me, these huge lapses in functionality make me feel like PayPal is a weak company. Is that true? No? Then knock it off with the lame app! You're better than this. Sorry for the brutal honesty... But somebody should say it. It needs to be said.
