I recently called PayPal to ask where the $10.00 was that they were giving away during the month of February, as a advantage membership reward. The reward was $10.00 cash back for shopping at one of the online shops they listed, I chose etsy.com. Two months later nothing was received. All paypal reps could tell me, after making me hold for 10 mins was "oh you're not an advantage member"... Okay, so why did I receive an email in September letting me know that I am one, and why do I have access to this forum to post this rant in the first place? They transferred me to a super visor who also could not give me a clear answer. Actually rather than getting to the initial issue of not getting the $10.00 that I signed up for. We had a back and forth on whether I was a advantage member or not. In the end she said she would get back to me in a day or two. Again, only in regards to whether I was actually a member or not. No one ever emailed or called me back. I am disappointed, as I always use to find calling in extremely helpful and the agents were always so quick and easy to converse with. Just not this time.
