I had a dispute between a seller in China and myself. We were wanting to receive a full refund for fraudulent/counterfeit items that were masked as genuine. The seller agreed to a refund, and we sent them back, however we never received a refund. long story short, the dispute was escalated to a claim and PayPal was investigating the claim. We were hoping to this would bring out resolution. We supplied everything that PayPal had requested and fully cooperated. However, to our frustration, paypal responded back to us stating: "The tracking information you provided was invalid and we were unable to confirm delivery of the item associated with this claim. As a result, the case is now considered closed and we are unable to process a refund." This is VERY frustrating because the tracking number we sent to them (CP29 3450 098U S) is a valid USPS tracking number. The tracking information on the USPS website ( http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInternetWeb/InterLabelInquiry.do?origTrackNum=cp%20293%20450%20098%20us ) is as followed: Detailed Results: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment Attempted Delivery Abroad, January 07, 2011, 4:00 pm, CHINA PEOPLES REP Attempted Delivery Abroad, December 07, 2010, 3:16 pm, CHINA PEOPLES REP Attempted Delivery Abroad, December 06, 2010, 11:17 am, CHINA PEOPLES REP Arrived Abroad, December 04, 2010, 9:17 am, CHINA PEOPLES REP International Dispatch, November 27, 2010, 12:41 am, ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) Arrival Acceptance, November 24, 2010, 5:49 pm, HEBRON, KY 41048 How is it that PayPal can claim the tracking number is invalid when the information above and on the website states otherwise? The only thing I want is for Paypal to recognize their mistake, and issue our refund. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
