I tried to contact Paypal directly with this, but received what appeared to be automated replies with suggested remedies that did not really even relate to the question asked. ( I'm sure you all are familiar with these replies.) They also said they were not capable of looking at the links I had embedded in my question, like the link to this forum. Funny response from an electronic commerce company that they cannot look at web links. . So I tried it from the other side and contacted USPS. In addition to the standard email reply saying they had received my inquiry, I was very pleasantly surprised to get a phone call a few days later from a real person at USPS (that's US Post Office) who was familiar with the issue and said they had already contacted Paypal and this should be resolved by the end of February. GO USPS! Even if they are unsuccessful in getting Paypal to move that quickly, USPS gets an A+++ for responsiveness, attitude, and customer service effort. Totally unrelated, but interesting is that while finishing this post, I used the spell check. "Paypal" is not in the dictionary. They want to replace it with "Papal"....... Hardly appropriate.
