yes, ebay and paypal make more money from the big sellers but it runs deeper than that. What attracts buyers in the first place are the small sellers. Without the small sellers the large sellers would dry up because many times I have found items out on the net for LESS than what these sellers are charging. Example; Most of the electronic items are listed by large sellers and in EVERY case when I match their prices with Newegg.com, newegg is always cheaper lol. So with small sellers dotting the auction ads here and there, eventually there's no attraction for buyers to even look at the ads if there's no small sellers. As a buyer what's the first thing you for? low price. Now you may see used items, refurbed items, store returns, etc. Now this may not what you want and it leads you to new items sold by large sellers. So, if that drys up where does it leave the large sellers? It's a domino effect that ebay and paypal never considered. they hire these idiot kids fresh out of business school who know nothing about business other than what they've learned on a chalk board and act on their advice.
