I purchased two Roomba vacuum cleaners from Ebay. I didn't receive shipping information so I tried to contact the seller who never returned my emails. I reported this to Ebay and the case went over to PayPal. In the interim, Ebay shut down the seller account as being fraudulent. The seller sent ONE Roomba. I reported this to PayPal who told me I had to wait so many days for the seller to respond. He did stating he sent the items but he only sent one. I spoke with a customer service person at PayPal who told me I had to send the one Roomba back to the customer to get reimbursed for the $1460.00. The paperwork said if the amount is over $750.00 had to send with a signature confirmation. I did not understand that you meant I should send it with a signature confirmation because to me, I was sending one Roomba which is $730.00, which is less than $750.00 Now I am being told that I will not get my money back because I didn't request a signature confirmation because THE CLAIM was $1460.00, even though the item was only $730.00. So now, this person in Vietnam who scammed me out of $1460.00 is getting a Roomba worth $730.00 on top of everything! So his scam netted him $2190.00!! How is this fair? I innocently tried to buy something on Ebay and ended up with nothing for my money and a dishonest person in Vietnam made $2190.00 Please can someone please help me? I was told to cancel the package that I shipped but the USPS said international packages cannot be stopped. Interestingly, USPS said they are getting a ton of calls about Ebay and PayPal scams. Can anyone help me?
