Greetings all, Here are some personal tips on saving money on eBay seller fees and attracting more buyers. As an individual seller, I am always trying to keep the seller fees to the minimum, but still attract buyers. All those additional things like Subtitles, Bold, Auction Designer, and Additional Pictures do attract more buyers, but add a lot of additional fees as well. Here are my tips! 1) Take advantage of eBay seller fee sales. From time to time, ebay sends messages to its users advertising discounts on a variety of fees. Such free subtitles, free "buy it now" listings, or discounted listing fees. Save up your items and wait for ebay to put seller fees on sale! 2) Use image hosting sites to add additional photos instead. Ebay charges a fee for every additional photo you add using there system. By using an image hosting site, such as imgur.com, you can upload all the photos you want free at any size you want (great for HD photos). Once you finish uploading, you will then be able to copy and paste the images or image links to your item description. Doing this allows you to add as many photos you want at no additional fees! 3) Trying to sell an expensive item? Post a video of your item in action. Are you trying to sell an used computer or other item that is worth a lot of money? Shoot a video of it showing that it works and pointing out the pros and cons. Then post it on Youtube or another video hosting site, and share it in your item description. This will boost buyers confidence to buy from you, as well as give them a nice viewing of the item they are about to bid on. 4) End your auction at a reasonable time. If you are only trying to sell locally within your country, having auctions end at a good time is a plus. People are busy usually from 9am - 5pm with work, etc.. Ending an auction around a reasonable time leaves more of a chance that buyers will appear and bid on your auction. Also check your time zones, If you live in NY, and want to give people a chance in CA to bid, try to find a perfect time to end your auction that is not too early, but not too late. I know this seems like a small factor, but I have always noticed more bids on my auctions during the night time then the day time. I try to only list auctions during the night time now. Well thats it, I hope these tips help! - BongoFan7
