@ChefDna You're missing the point. The point is that Wikileaks has not been convicted of, or even charged with, a crime. Do you think that credit card companies should deny service to members of one political party but not another? That party may be "wrong" in your opinion, but if they are functioning within the bounds of the law then they should have access to the same services as everyone else. We cannot allow major corporations like PayPal to start acting as judge and jury based on their own political whims. If PayPal had been served with a court order to freeze Wikileaks' account, the reaction would have been very different. Finally, Wikileaks did not reveal this to the world any more than the New York Times, The Guardian, and other major news sources that are reporting this issue. In fact, almost all of the cables released so far were released by major news organizations BEFORE they were posted on Wikileaks. A member of the American military, Bradley Manning, allegedly stole and leaked these documents, not Assange.
