This is a 100% Chinese scam operation. The website shareue.com has already been taken down. The domain name is now parked. They took our money and ran. Good luck tracing them down in China... Their scheme seems to be this - they offer popular tech items (audio, electronics and the likes) that usually sell in the 200-300 USD range and offer them well below 100 USD. Yes, too good to be true. Somehow they figured out a way to show up at the top of google searches, right next to reputable sellers like B+H Photovideo, Andorama, Amazon. When you "buy" an item from them (through a good search), it first seems to show up on their website, but once you have completed the purchase, they no longer list the item you just bought. Just a random "order and item" number. And no, they never send you that purchase confirmation email. I tried to search for my item (while their website was still up) and of course - it was nowhere to be found. Because it never existed in the first place. I sent a cancellation email right away - never heard back. Then 0 to my surprise - I got a "shipping confirmation" email through PayPal, a "fake" seller email address and a USPS tracking number. The tracking number did indeed show an item being shipped to my zip code. Very clever. But it was mailed from NY State - suspicious. It even was "delivered" yesterday - only not to my address. I contacted the postal service (through their website - missing mail), someone from my post office called me today and said the package showed a different delivery address. Now they're trying to trace down that package. Very suspicious... Here's what I think - you have a window of 60 days to dispute a credit card charge. This Chinese scam seems to be designed to "outrun" that clock. You need to wait until your "package" was delivered. That's why they ship you "something" - at least something that seems to be going to your ZIP code. So you can't say right away - "I got scammed!" - Now you have to wait until that "package" arrives. But what if it never gets delivered? You have to wait until you to know for sure. How fast will the US Postal Service be able to tell you? Once you know for sure the credit card company asks you to contact the seller. It's their policy. You have to give the seller 15 days to respond. The clock is ticking against those 60 days... While the scammers have already packed up their fake shop in China and have disappeared with all those non existent goods that they sold to people like us... I already sent my "complaint" email to the "fake" seller. Of course I haven't heard back. After 15 days I'll file a dispute claim with my credit card company and mI will eventually get my money back. Chances are, the credit card company has to pay for that. I'd be surprised if they're able to find those crooks. I am sure it's not worth it to them for 70 bucks... So they'll get a way and will soon try to find their next victims under a new fake website name. There always have been and always will be scammers. But I will never fall for that trick again - that I know for sure.
