So Paypal allowed me to be scammed from a cryptocurrency trading site and told me that they weren’t able to protect me from the scammer because intangible items like bitcoin are not protected by their seller policies. Yet I see now that PayPal says they are dealing in bitcoin and will be accepting payments in bitcoin so I’m a little curious how it is that they’re not able to protect me from a bitcoin theft yet they expect that people will be paying with bitcoin on their website? Doesn’t that sound a little bit fishy to anyone else? Does anyone know if they are changing their policies to reflect this since now they claim they are going to be dealing in cryptocurrency?
