Can anyone help with this? I have a site with a php script that expects PayPal to refer to a script on my site after the transaction. I have set the IPN url to the confirm.php file on my site correctly and turned off auto reply. So far as I know, nothing else needs to be done to activate the IPN. The confirm.php file is apparently never called from PayPal. Here is what the script support desk says: To understand why we think the problem is in the paypal settings or in paypal let me tell you in detail what we do in the confirm.php. As you can see we have the lines: $fpp=fopen("ipn.txt","w+"); $data=var_export($_REQUEST,true); fwrite($fpp,$data); This takes everything from the request array and put it in the file. When confirm.php is called from paypal in the request field there should be lots of fields like the amount paid, name, some custom fields, transactions and etc. This information is used later to verify the payment. As you can see it looks like this is missing. So the whole process of the verification is failing. Please contact paypal support and provide them with this information.
