I would not worry so much about it yet. You only need to begin worrying if you reach power seller level status, where you are making more then 30 transactions a month. Most power sellers can hit 100 or more a month, have their own websites and personal merchant sites,and have already established businesses, including having a reseller ID in order to by wholesale. By then, your state is already aware of you, and know that you are an established business. When and if you do charge taxes, it must be the right amount for your state, or you can end up either over charging or under charging. New York state is 8.875 for instance. For now, if you are only making small transactions, you are not likely on any radar screens, yet. If it gets bigger, then you can be a little more concerned. Hope that helps a little.
