Ok, I've wondered this for a while, I just noticed again today that I have a lot of items I never bothered to mark as sent, in my PayPal dashboard/activity whatever. If it's done on Ebay it usually does but I never bother checking, in fact I don't like to log into PayPal unless I have to so I usually just simply copy the customer address from the email, print a shipping label using MSWord, and mark the item as sent in my Woocommerce dashboard, I don't then go into Paypal and spend even more time because I rush to the Post Office with the parcel I just packed and barley make any money making & packing small items as it is. Time is money. So my question is do I need to go back over the months/years and mark all these old items as sent? That will send an email update to the customer won't it? I don't want to confuse people this far down the track and mark an item as sent when they received it last year so what should I do just ignore them all? They are marked as complete, just some of them are not marked as shipped I guess. I searched for answers but could only find instructions on how to do it, not if we HAVE to do it. Surely I'm not the only one who never bothers to log into PayPal to mark items sent, I already have to log into my bank, my invoice system, my Etsy Shop, my website etc, so if someone pays with PayPal I don't want to have to go there as well to mark it as sent, it's a waste of time. I just go to the platform it was sold from. What does everyone else do?
