Hi Elkhornne, Your point is well made and in principle I totally agree. I'm not trying to make excuses for PayPal but I suppose the problem lies in implementing policies that are fair to everyone. We have to accept that as well as disreputable buyers there are also disreputable sellers and it must be difficult for PayPal to make well informed decisions at a distance, especially if they are getting thousands a day to deal with. We have just had a chargeback awarded against us (the buyer instigated a chargeback with his credit card company) when it seemed unarguable to me that we had done nothing wrong. I console myself with the fact that unless we make the 99% of decent people feel comfortable ordering over the Internet then we haven't got a business, so in our budgets and pricing we build in one percent to cover the cost of the rogues. I suppose this is akin to bricks and mortar shopkeepers having to build in a small percentage to cover the cost of shoplifting. Oh, if only the entire world were as honest as you and me!
